Symbol	Description	Comments
	Picture Sleeve	Most CDs / CD Singles / Albums / 12" Singles and many 7" Singles come with picture sleeves. A CD or Cassette P/S is an item in a "standard" plastic case. On most pages, the picture sleeve is shown on the left if an image is available.
	Card Sleeve	A Card Sleeve definition varies depending on the format:- 7" Singles / 12" Singles - Not a Picture Sleeve, but perhaps a special company sleeve with the artists' name on it or a promotional custom sleeve. CD Albums / CD Singles - A 3" or 5" square cardboard sleeve which does not fit into a plastic case. Cassette Singles - A "cigarette" type case which wraps around the whole cassette. These have no plastic outer case.
	Digi-Pack	A digi-pack is most common with CD singles and consists of a CD tray with a cardboard fold on the front and no plastic outer casing.
	Boxed Set	A boxed set can be a set of several albums / CDs or a solitary CD in a special "box packaging".
	Special Packaging	Odd shaped packaging or design which does not conform to the other options above (includes "book" style packages)
	Country of manufacture or origin (where known)	Flag showing country of manufacture (if known) or origin. IMPORT is occasionally used where the country of origin cannot be ascertained or is not known to me.
	Promotional Copy / Jukebox Copy	Promotional Copies are those not for general commercial sale and usually marked "For Promotional Use Only". These are often copies given out in advance to radio DJs / shops etc. JUKE is sometimes used to describe a promotional record produced for use in jukeboxes.
Trk	No. of Tracks	The number of songs or tracks on the disc / record.
Val	Value	The approximate value of a mint condition copy, bought in the UK in £ (pounds sterling). This is very subjective. Prices vary by location! Where two prices are given it may be that some copies offer more (e.g. if some copies of a single come with a free poster, the higher value will be for those with the poster and the lower for those without). This is also the case where a picture sleeve is particularly rare and a record was usually supplied without it and is much more common in a plain sleeve.
Flexi	Flexidisc / Postcard	If issued in the UK, a flexidisc (basically a floppy record on thin plastic) is listed under the 7" section. In Eastern Europe - especially Russia and Poland, there were a rash of cheaply produced discs, sometime on thin plastic (sometimes with a sleeve, sometimes not) and often on postcards. These 5" discs could be sent as a postcard (with a variety of pictures and scenes on them) and then played on a conventional record player. Obviously the quality of these discs can vary considerably and they are listed separately on this site as many collectors may not feel them worthy of mention in the 7" discographies.
